District 91 Conference 2024

Refund & Transfer Policy Only

  1. All tickets purchased for this event are final. We do not issue refunds or transfers for any reason other than for the exceptions outlined below so please make your purchase with this in mind. Please note that duplicate tickets cannot be issued under any circumstances.
  1. We can only offer refunds if an event has been:
    1. cancelled,
    2. rescheduled or 
    3. moved to a location over 15 miles from the original location (note, this only applies to ‘in-person’ tickets, not virtual/online ticket options).
  1. If the Event is cancelled, you will be offered a refund on your tickets. If the Event is rescheduled or moved to a location over 15 miles from the original location, the Organiser will give you the options of either (i) retaining your tickets for the new date/location or (ii) a refund.
  1. You are eligible to transfer your ticket to another eligible attendee up to the 31 March 2024. No transfers will be allowed after this date. Please contact conference@d91toastmasters.org.uk for information on the transfer process.
  1. In the event that you are unable to attend due to UK government regulations or restrictions introduced after the purchase date, your ticket cannot be refunded but you have the option to transfer your ticket to another eligible attendee. Please contact conference@d91toastmasters.org.uk for information on the transfer process.
  1. In addition to the ticket price, your order may require payment of a booking fee per ticket, a transaction fee per order and/or other supplementary fees which may apply to the Event. Those fees are not refundable.

  1. If the Event is rescheduled, changed, moved or cancelled the Organiser cannot be held responsible for any resulting costs you may incur for travel, accommodation and other related goods, services or compensation.

Full Terms & Conditions

In these Terms & Conditions, the “Organiser”, “Us”, “Our”, or “We” means Toastmasters International District 91 and “Event” shall mean the Toastmasters International District 91 Annual Conference 2024.

Tickets to this Event are issued on behalf of the Organiser Toastmasters International District 91 and are subject to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Nobody will be allowed admission to the Event without a valid ticket or pass.
  1. For the safety of people at the Event, the venue management and the Organiser reserve the right to refuse admission and conduct security searches as they deem appropriate.
  1. All tickets or passes should be checked on purchase, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.

  1. Defaced or altered tickets or passes will become void and the holder will be refused admission.
  1. Tickets cannot be resold for commercial gain. If we have reason to believe that tickets have been re-sold, they will be invalidated, and the holder will be refused admission.
  1. We may restrict the sale of tickets to a maximum number per person (allocation). We reserve the right to cancel tickets bought in excess of this allocation.
  1. You must inform the organiser of any change to your email address and dietary information by the 31 March 2024. Our contact details are below.
  1. The Organiser reserves the right to alter or vary the content or timing of any part of the Event in circumstances beyond its reasonable control without any obligation to make any refunds or exchange tickets.
  1. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse admission or to eject any person appearing to be intoxicated, under the influence of drugs, showing signs of Covid-19 including a high temperature or a persistent cough, refusing to wear a mask when required to do so (unless they are unable to do so due to an underlying health condition), otherwise behaving dangerously or inappropriately, or for any other behaviour likely to cause damage, injury, nuisance and annoyance or for failure to comply with the reasonable request of the Organiser.
  1. Neither the Organiser nor the venue operator will be responsible for any loss, damage, death or injury howsoever caused unless (i) the relevant party has breached its legal obligations; and (ii) such loss or damage is a direct and reasonably foreseeable result of the breach. For the avoidance of doubt, the Organiser will not be responsible for the actions of any third party, including, but not limited to, the speakers.
  1. The Event will operate in accordance with the latest UK Government and Public Health England guidelines and will operate under the Event Industry’s All Secure Standard, a comprehensive set of guidelines to keep you safe at our Events. As a result of these measures we may be required to manage the flow of visitors to specific areas of the Event to ensure we remain compliant with visitor density requirements.
  1. If all or any of the Event is planned to take place outdoors it will take place regardless of weather conditions (unless deemed unsafe by the safety officer). There are no refunds for bad weather (at indoor or outdoor events). We strongly advise that you come dressed appropriately for an outdoor Event.
  1. The Organiser does not accept any responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property brought to the Event.
  1. Visitors may be filmed, photographed or sound recorded for broadcast, publication or security purposes whilst at the Event by the Organiser and our trusted sponsors and partners. The organisers may provide areas free from photography, filming etc where possible – please find a member of the event team on the day should you have any concerns. When purchasing your ticket, you can indicate if you’d like your lanyard to be marked to identify you clearly to videographers and photographers. The Organiser is not accountable for personal videography or photography taken by delegates.
  1. It is a condition of your admission to the Event that no commercial (non-private) use may be made by you of the Event or any part of it, unless otherwise agreed in writing by the District Director.
  1. Visitors are not permitted to bring animals to the Event with the exception of guide, assistance and hearing dogs.
  1. Please check Event details, timings and car park charges prior to travelling as these may be subject to change.
  1. Please check your route prior to travelling to ensure you arrive on time. The Organiser is not responsible for any delays due to travel disruptions.
  1. Every effort will be made to admit latecomers at a suitable break in theatres, workshops or performances, but admission cannot always be guaranteed.
  1. The Organiser will appoint hosts, presenters, speakers and chairs who will have the right to request no personal video and sound recordings or photography during any portion of the Event. The Organiser reserves the right to remove delegates taking personal recordings or photography if necessary. Delegates are asked to act in accordance with the Toastmasters International Speech Contest Rulebook during formal contest proceedings.
  1. In accordance with the Venue’s and The Organiserspublic liability insurance,, visitors aged under 18 are not permitted.
  1. The relevant United Kingdom law will apply to these Terms and Conditions and the relevant courts of the United Kingdom will have exclusive jurisdiction in relation to the Terms and Conditions.
